1991 Joined The Mitsubishi Bank, Ltd. and was stationed in London from 1994
1999 Resigned from The Mitsubishi Bank, Ltd.
1999 Joined Kodansha, Ltd. as Vice President and Board Member in charge of Accounting and Finance Division and Digital Operating Division
2004 Appointed as the Senior Executive Vice President and COO in charge of overall company business and Literature Division of Kodansha, Ltd.
2011 Appointed as the President and CEO of Kodansha, Ltd.

Mr. Hiroshi Mikitani
Hiroshi Mikitani is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rakuten, Inc., Born in Kobe, Japan, Mikitani earned his undergraduate degree in commerce from Hitotsubashi University in 1988. After graduation, he joined the Industrial Bank of Japan (IBJ), Limited, now Mizuho Corporate Bank, and became an investment banker. While working at IBJ, Mikitani attended Harvard Business School and earned his MBA in 1993. In 1995, Mikitani left IBJ and founded Crimson Group the following year, a consulting company, and became its President and CEO. In February of 1997, he founded MDM, Inc. (now Rakuten, Inc.) and became its President and CEO. With only a handful of staff, Mikitani successfully launched the “Rakuten Ichiba” in May of the same year. In June 1999, MDM, Inc. changed its name to Rakuten, Inc. Rakuten, Inc. completed its IPO and was listed on the JASDAQ market in April 2000.

Mr.Takehiko Ogi
Takehiko Ogi is President and CEO of Maruzen CHI Holdings Company, Limited. He joined Maruzen Co., Ltd in January 2007 as an advisor. In April of that year, he became the president. In December 2010, he was appointed the President of 2Dfacto Inc., which was jointly established by Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd., NTT DoCoMo Inc., and Maruzen CHI Holdings Co. Ltd.
In1984, he began his career with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (at present Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and took charge of planning of supporting Venture business and Electronics industry Policy. Then, he studied at Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy at Princeton University from 1989 to1991 during his tenure and received Master’s Degree for international affairs.
After working at MITI for 13 years, he joined Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. and set up a business project of TSUTAYA Online Service.
In 2004-2006, Mr. Ogi was at Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan, where he managed reconstruction of Kanebo Co., Ltd. as a Chief Executive Officer.
