  • Macro Gruppo Editoriale (Italy)

    Senior Consultant

This is the second time we have participated in TIBF. We are delighted that we could have quality business meetings with nearly double the number of publishers we met last time. With the assistance of the Show Management, we were able to meet with many top Japanese publishers at the fair. We are very satisfied with the results this year, and look forward to participating next year to expand our business.

Malaysian National Institute of Translation (MNIT) (Malaysia)

    Chief Executive Officer/ Managing Director

Although it was the first time the Malaysian National Institute of Translation (MNIT) participated in TIBF, our presence provided many benefits. We had 18 useful meetings and had numerous opportunities to introduce Malaysian products to the Japanese market.

  • TAIWAN BOOK PUBLISHER'S ASSOCIATION (Taiwan)

Besides selling publication rights, we had more than 20 interesting business meetings, with some focusing on digital publishing solutions. We have already concluded a contract to sell publication rights for a language learning series and also the rights for a digital version. As a result, we think this year's TIBF was very productive.

    Italian Cultural Institute (Italy)

We have exhibited at TIBF for five years, and business discussions at our booth have increased every year. This time, we had about 30 meetings. Many Japanese editors showed strong interest in Italian books, including children’s books, works of literature, and other novels. We believe that TIBF is the best venue to have productive meetings with Japanese publishers, and we will definitely call for more Italian publishers to exhibit next year.
